The exhibition brought together leading hospitals, healthcare technology innovators, and medical equipment manufacturers from across the region, creating a powerful platform for collaboration and growth.The event was attended by Dr. Mohsin Alvi, CEO of Symbian Health, and Ms. Lilit Asatryan, Managing Director, who traveled to India to engage directly with healthcare leaders, technology partners, and decision-makers. NETRC 2021 – Manchester

NETRC 2021 – Manchester, NH Telehealth Launchpad – Refueling for Sustainability   Symbian Health was a sponsor and exhibitor at the annual NETRC conference held on Sept 23rd and 24th in Manchester, New Hampshire. NETRC partners with MCD Public Health and University of Vermont to help implement telehealth programs which serve rural and medically underserved areas and populations throughout New England, New Jersey, and New York.   NETRC is one of 12 Regional Resource Centers and works closely with two National Centers – the Center for Connected Health Policy and the Telehealth Technology Assessment Center.   Symbian health, a telemedicine solutions provider partners with hospitals in rural and underserved areas to cover staffing shortages, was represented by Dr Sarah Suleman at the conference.   In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, speakers at this year’s conference talked about challenges during COVID faced by hospitals, nursing facilities and the healthcare community at large. Organizations and speakers shared their telehealth expertise and expansion of telehealth utilization and impact. We learnt about rapid implementation success stories and lessons learned, workforce training efforts, and strategic planning for tomorrow’s healthcare landscape, with telehealth and telemedicine services as a focal point.   At NETRC, Symbian Health had the opportunity to discuss our services and technology in this time of need particularly for underserved populations. It was a great opportunity to connect with partners in Telemedicine and meet with industry leaders to hear about experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic from an organization, provider and patient point of view.

ATA 2022 – Boston

ATA 2022 – Boston, MA Symbian Health was represented at the American Telemedicine Association’s ATA2022 Annual Conference and Expo in Boston, May 1-3. Dr. Mohsin Alvi, Symbian’s Founder and CEO, and strategy consultant Andrew McWilliams were in the Symbian booth, where they met with providers, technology developers, business professionals, and leaders from across the healthcare sector who had convened to discuss the virtual health landscape and how to establish telehealth as a permanent care delivery modality.   Following on the heels of Symbian’s participation in the Society of Hospital Medicine’s Converge conference and expo in Nashville March 26-29, ATA2022 demonstrates Symbian Health’s growing presence in the telemedicine space. Our next appearance will be at the Northeast Telehealth Resource Center’s “Exploring the Telehealth Universe” conference in Southbridge, MA Sept. 29-30, 2022.”

NETRC ’22 – Southbridge, MA NETRC held its annual conference in Southbridge on Sept 29th-Sept 30th on “Exploring the Telehealth Universe”. NETRC partners with MCD Public Health and University of Vermont to help implement telehealth programs which serve rural and medically underserved areas and populations throughout New England, New Jersey, and New York.   Symbian Health was represented by consultant Andrew McWilliams and Dr. Sarah Suleman, Head of Strategy who presented on “Rising Hospitalist cost hurting U.S hospital, solving the problem with low-cost Tele-hospitalist solutions” along with our partner hospitals Milford Regional Medical Center’s hospitalist director Dr Aaron Shepard. The conference was attended by leaders from across the telehealth sector and varied topics on telehealth delivery, telehealth in rural areas, post pandemic outlook and innovation in telehealth and telemedicine was discussed.   Symbian Health continues to develop partnerships with regional hospitals to expand services and implement our services for hospitals across the northeast and across the U.S

Symbian Health had the pleasure of attending the recently concluded SHM Converge conference in Nashville, of which it was a proud sponsor. SHM Converge is an annual event where hospitalists and other hospital professional convene to engage, meet and network. It is a great place to connect with colleagues and catch up on the “latest research, best practices, and newest innovations in the field that can immediately be applied to improving patient care.”   Symbian’s Director of Services, Cindy Porter NP, was at our booth to talk with other attendees about Symbian Health and our telehospitalist services. Symbian has rolled out its cross coverage telehospitalist services successfully at Milford (MA) Regional. Symbian Health was proud to be invited to exhibit once again at this year’s Society of Hospitalist Medicine’s Annual convention. With nearly 1,600 registered attendees, the show represented a great opportunity for Symbian to debut its Cloud Care Platform and further demonstrate our success in supporting hospital staff with our custom suite of services.   Symbian’s Regional Growth Manager, Jim McGathey and Dr. Joe Urman were both on hand to greet attendees and share information about our tele-hospitalist services.   “I was pleasantly surprised at the high level of interest in Symbian Health and what we do. There were so many residents that we met and had a chance to speak with over the course of three days. Meanwhile, Dr. John Halamka of the Mayo Clinic highlighted their ‘AI factory,’ focusing on AI’s role in early disease detection and crafting personalized treatments.   AI in Clinical and Oncological Settings   Discussions also covered the practical applications of AI in healthcare settings. Jason Springs of Endpoint Health talked about leveraging predictive analytics to manage critical conditions such as sepsis. In a similar vein, Dr. Jens Rueter at the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine shared insights into precision oncology, where AI helps tailor cancer treatments based on genetic markers.   AI’s Broader Impacts   From real-time disease tracking discussed by Dr. John Brownstein of Boston Children’s Hospital to the comprehensive views on AI’s role in enhancing healthcare outcomes shared by other experts, the conference provided a holistic view of the future of health services.   As the “State of AI in Precision Health” conference concluded, it was evident that the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare holds transformative potential.
